A Practical, Engaging Full‑Day, In-Person* Training for Bankers

This full‑day, in person engaging BSA training is designed for today’s bankers. This session begins with the core legal and regulatory requirements of BSA/AML and moves quickly into practical guidance for managing responsibilities efficiently in daily operations. Known for her ability to explain complex topics clearly and make compliance relevant—and even enjoyable—Kristen blends real‑world examples, recent regulatory trends, and current hot topics throughout the day. Attendees receive a comprehensive reference manual and actionable takeaways they can immediately apply and is ideal for BSA Officers, assistants, investigators, risk professionals, and anyone seeking to strengthen or refresh their BSA knowledge.

About the Program

The Bank Secrecy Act continues to evolve—new risks, new expectations, and new regulatory focus areas emerge every year. Yet at its core, BSA remains a daily, operational function that must be understood, managed, and lived by the people responsible for it.

This full‑day, in person BSA training is designed to build a strong foundation in BSA/AML requirements while also addressing today’s most relevant and emerging issues. The program begins with the fundamentals of the law and regulations, then moves quickly into practical, real‑world application—how BSA responsibilities can be managed efficiently, effectively, and in a way that makes sense in daily banking operations.

Whether you are new to BSA or a seasoned professional looking to refresh and sharpen your skills, this session delivers clarity, confidence, and actionable takeaways.

What Makes This Training Different

  • Complex topics, clearly explained: Attendees consistently say Kristen has a unique ability to break down complicated regulatory concepts into plain language, with relatable examples that make BSA understandable and relevant.
  • Practical, not theoretical: Participants receive comprehensive reference manual along with tools, tips, and practical guidance they can use immediately back at their institutions.
  • Engaging and interactive: This is not a sit‑and‑listen program. Kristen encourages questions, discussion, and interaction, drawing on group experience to reinforce learning.
  • Relevant and current: The course incorporates recent regulatory pronouncements and hot topics, ensuring content reflects today’s risk environment—not last year’s.
  • Enjoyable learning environment: While the subject matter is serious, the delivery is approachable and engaging.
